Great Storage Ideas

Posted by: admin In: Home Improvement Information

It is important to keep your bathroom tidy as the last thing you want is to have friends around and feel embarrassed when they enter the bathroom. Adding the correct furniture can help enhance the look of the bathroom and also help with the storage problems. Most bathrooms are quite bare and they don’t have much storage, if any at all.

Adding a vanity unit around the sink can go a long way to helping with storage. Most people tend to leave their personal bathroom items lying around the sink and bath. Having a vanity will allow them to store these items within the unit. They are hidden out of view, but easily accessible when they are required. Vanity units can actually store quite a bit of different products. You can use the top shelf to store all your personal products for washing your face. Other items such as makeup, shampoos, conditioners, and so on can be stored here as well. You can use the bottom shelf to store towels and other linen as well as bathroom cleaning products.

Another problem spot within the bathroom is the shower area. Most people tend to store their items on the shower floor where they can mess floor. An important point to make about storing these products on the floor is that you could easily trip over them and fall causing injury. Buying a shower shelf can remove the products from the floor and onto the shelving unit. Many shower units are quite small so you may want to look for a shelf that can be installed into the corner. Corner shelves allow you to have the freedom to move around without knocking the shelf with your elbows.

Finally, installing a towel bar will keep your towels to hand near the sink area and help the towels to dry out between use.
