It appears Christmas is no longer happy with having the entire month of December as its designated celebratory time slot. This can probably be contributed to the fact that holiday lovers are putting their decorations up sooner and leaving them up longer, which is bad news for at least one Christmas tradition, but very good news for another. Since a real tree can’t make it through the extended holiday hours (or should we say weeks) because of needle loss and the threat of it becoming a fire hazard, Artificial Christmas Trees have risen to take their place. This means families across America are decorating their trees as soon as Thanksgiving is over, and stories are surfacing of many even making it part of their Thanksgiving celebrations. Because decorations are being left up longer it’s not uncommon to see the fashionable white Christmas tree as the centerpiece at New Year’s Eve parties.
